I’d rather wait for a bundle with a shirt that features the album cover. $65 for just a double LP is too much for my wallet.

These guys really seem like they’re winging at this point. It’s like they don’t really care about this record/the band. Such a lazy, half-assed preorder if you ask me, and if I’m going off of their live performance I just saw, they seem totally disinterested. I love this band though and I hope this record is really good. I’m ok with a rehash; they’re one of those bands for me.

It’s only a preorder for the limited edition vinyl. It’s not like this is them dropping all they’ve got.

It’s still odd that they didn’t release a single to accompany it, though. I wouldn’t preorder an album without hearing a single.

someone else did this recently and I thought it was odd... maybe Dance Gavin Dance?

Kinda weird, but I assume a song will be on streaming tonight

    Looking forward to this

You'd think they would've wanted to release this before or at least during the Coheed tour.

Also, holy hell their stage presence is so boring.

Yeah. This is why this new album needs to be a huge progression.

They haven't played any new tracks yet?

Is PN records’ marketing usually this out of it?

Maybe they wanted to get this preorder out early due to the “complexity of manufacturing” the lp?

Doesn't really make sense from a marketing standpoint, for one of the biggest bands on the label, for a pivotal album in their career. Possible that the label doesn't have much faith in it?

I agree, it definitely doesn’t make sense from a marketing standpoint.

They’ve been winging it for almost a decade haha. It’s their thing at this point.

"Out of it" is released already and it doesn't sound like a huge progression. It sounds like regular TSSF.

  20. Yes.

The album version is mixed differently but it’s essentially the same song.

This band has always looked bored on stage. This isn't a new development. The liveliest I've ever seen this band is when they're dropkicking girls off stage.

They were pretty lively in 2012 on the Glamour Kill tour. I think Parker has just become jaded with live performances.

I just hope they re recorded/ remastered Out of It cause the production on that single is pretty bad

2012 Glamour Kills was my first introduction to the band and I vividly remember being so confused by the difference between the energy the crowd was giving the band versus how much the band seemed disinterested in the whole thing

Years back this band was much more lively on stage. Maybe it’s because they’re from my hometown and I’ve only seen them do shows here in SF- but that’s what I remember.

Also that crowd in the video is so small that I feel bad for them lol
