I don't like to even speculate about the Format cus it just sets me up to get my heart broken.

And same with fun. I do think we could see fun. do something again one day, but I don't think it'll be anytime soon.

Why on earth would this band make an Instagram out of nowhere if they didn't have some activity coming up...... Is it really gonna happen am I really gonna get a Ludo reunion???

Local H isn't playing the festival, as they're doing a tour that hits Chicago, but the Chicago date is Sunday, the 16th. If they push the set time back until after the fest is done, that'd be a fun after show.

I'd be so into that. I haven't seen that band in a few years.

Jimmy Eat World and The Hotelier are doing dates together on the West coast this weekend. They're out.

idk if JEW is big enough to fly to drop in for a one-off festival set, but technically they've still got both Friday and Sunday open.

Have Thrice been ruled out yet? Their new album drops on the Friday so they might do what TBS done in 2016, play the album in full at an aftershow the Friday night?

It's getting late enough that I'm starting to wonder if there's been some negotiating around the radius clauses and wave 2 will come out after Warped's Tinley Park date.

I don't think this is true, at least for the past couple of years.

Yeah the 2nd wave last year came out at the start of June, far before Warped Tour started

I might be wrong, but I don’t think Warped typically conflicts with the radius clause

There’s usually a few surprise Warped adds sprinkled into the final lineup release for the schedule or something like that. Second wave is always way before until now.

Warped bands I'd like to see added: Reel Big Fish, the Interrupters, Every Time I Die, Sharptooth, Senses Fail.

Maybe not when the ENTIRE Warped Tour is over, but maybe the next wave will be announced after the Chicago Warped date. That’s a Saturday, so maybe we’ll get 2nd wave on the 23rd or after

I'm intensely curious to see who they pull in as that third headliner. Based on who is available at this point, I don't know that it'll be anything I particularly care about... But still curious to see who fills that slot.

Do we have any guesses as to what the next wave will consist of? I'm guessing we'll be getting one more bona fide headliner, one more subheadliner, and a smattering of other acts to fill out the undercard. At least one more early evening act, a few mid-afternoon acts, and a handful of locals/side stage bands.

Historically, the second wave hasn't impressed me very much but I'm hoping for better this year.

Another possibility for some undercard wild maybe be jetty bones and save face because I believe they’ll be within radius clause but also I truly am bad at these things. Also an vague guess is a mid afternoon indie pop act (like a band you’d see open for walk the moon) that’s on the rise and an older rock act in a vein of new found glory, maybe four year strong as an add on from warped if that is the case. Going through different bands and posters made me realize how many bands are completely out of the question even for the undercard
