Parking Lot really would have been awesome if weren't for Marks boring and lame ass verse.

  2. While I’ve disagreed with everything else you’ve said today, I’m not gonna pretend this isn’t also true. That said, when I saw GC at musink, a band I’d never seen before, I only had a blast because I knew the songs they played. I’ve no idea if hardcore GC fans hate their set full of hits or not but our downfall is likely that we are blink fans, not hits fans. :/

To be fair the California sessions had the same riff like 7 times

My personal opinion of an aging blink has always been that they were more than just pop punk band when they were at their peak. They were that symbol of potty mouth, teenage angst and it worked well. When your key demo gets older, we’re obviously going to still like the music and show up for when they play, but anything new that doesn’t show growth and maturity isn’t nearly as important to me as their past work was. They’re incredibly pigeon-holed into a nostalgia act. I think Tom picked up on this earlier than the others and that’s why he changed his style, tried to mature, even changed how he sings. That being said, Tom’s output has not been what I would consider to be “good” outside of his glory days.

Oh I am not excusing that at all, just pointing out that all 3 of them are guilty of relying on what’s worked before.

Mark's Dude Ranch songs are blink's peak.

If Mark's not going to get divided into three categories you should consolidate those Toms into one. I believe that would average into Mark>Tom>Matt

That only says that you liked Tom more.

It doesn’t negate what I said at all.

Please tell me what quality California offers outside of a few songs ? The album doesn't offer much at all.

You would pick radio hits, especially when those songs except for Adams Song aren't upons the bands best.

Mark wasn’t divided because he’s really consistent lol

I don’t recall saying anything about Caifornia.

    You’re arguing a different point.

Because the general public’s perception of Tom is making fun of the way he sings the chorus in I Miss You. Hell of a legacy.

This is how downtime for blink goes around here. Imagine how it'd be in here if Tom never got booted and they were in like their 4th or 5th year of inactivity lol.

No Iam not saying Tom WAS in band only for money,at least no before the first break up.I just think it's lame to keep using Blink name on posts about To the Stars Academy,Books or UFO.If he stepped away then stay away and care about you own business. And Duh,Mark and Travis milking the band, its their job.You would be really silly no to use the fame you gained with successful band.We living in the real world. But I don't think that's wrong since people still show up on shows, buying new music and supporting band? They don't force anyone to do it.But they ARE in that band, writing music, play shows and spending time with it.I think that's different compare to what Tom trying to do

  24. i've never understood the hype around that song... same with "pretty little girl," both of those are very overrated. underrated though: "mercenaries."
