I hope the spurs don’t match Kyle Anderson. I think he’ll be a good fit in Memphis.

 

His ability to move his feet and stick with perimeter players is exciting. He showed some real promising flashes last night.

Didn’t get to see much of that in the zone at Duke. If he can be that guy consistently, his ceiling is a lot higher.

 

He was basically the only one that could play man to man last year consistently and switch, but they used him more as a rim protector at the bottom of the zone. He’s got a great ceiling imo. I think he could be really good.

 

I knew he had good defensive help instincts. But I was worried about the foot speed.

There was enough in that game to think switching is definitely in his reasonable range outcomes.

Hutchison didn’t pop nearly as much, unfortunately.

He reminds me of a young Al Horford. Not flashy at all, but can be super effective and a handful.

It’s funny, because he doesn’t really remind me of what Al Horford was like when Horford was younger. Horford was a bit flashier. But he reminds me of a younger version of the player Horford is now. If that makes sense. Haha.
