Going through a really painful divorce right now- any album or song recommendations would be appreciated! Right now I’m angry so anything in that genre specifically- but I’ll take anything

The album "Brace Yourself" by Dropping Daylight might be really good for what you're looking for.

    Hi everyone,

Here is a new synthwave/80s track I collaborated with Oliver Schmitz, Micah Sherman with Medsound on Remix duty.

It's called "In the Sand" released on Beach Lounge Records. Available on Beatport and other major distributors.

It’s an older song but for a breakup with anger involved definitely try “Shinedown - For My Sake”. That track always both gets me pumped and when needed made me feel better.

There seems to be a lot of stupid band names in this genre. I almost feel like it's part of the scene in the same way a lot of emo bands use long unrelated phrases as song titles

    Nepenthe, by Mines Falls

Really good, moody, piano-heavy indie with strong vocals and some electronic elements. Favorite tracks are Hall Ave, McWay Falls Overlook, and In the Rain.

Does anyone on here listen to Australian singer Sarah Blasko? Her latest album, Depth Of Field, is excellent... Almost as good as Eternal Return from 2015 (my favourite)!

Great recommendation, hopefully some more like this show up here... I think I like Depth Of Field better personally over Eternal Return.

Hey! I'm always amazed how little-known Sarah is outside Australia. She's producing work of a truly international standard. I have a real soft spot for Eternal Return because my boyfriend, Jack Colwell, was Sarah's main support act on the Eternal Return tour. I know that album back to front! But Depth of Field is great, too. Every album of hers is a significant evolution, which I love.

They should start playing this on all the pop stations. She's a singer from Italy, and I like what I hear

Love the album, can't support them in anyway considering they're shitty and creepy people.

I now am seeing at least what remains of this allegation, why did it disappear is my question? I can't find it anywhere when I search it on google either

So apparently there's a whole story about a few of the members being accused of some sexual assault or something when they were in another band, but I'm blanking on what their old band was called. Anyway, while they were in that band they met their current lead singer of Superorganism when she was like 15/16 and she came to live with them because she was like a super fan and now they've erased all history of their old band, have flat out denied they were ever in a band previously and scrubbed out all the sexual assault stories. There's a whole thread on Twitter I'm trying to find. I'll send it to you when I find it.

Edit: the old band was called The Eversons apparently. This is a post from the Superorganism album review on this site.

Haha probably, but I'm not going to go through her tweets, she seems kind of terrible.

Well, I found what she was saying and it seems like it gained 0 traction at all. Which is weird because the eversons were seemingly pretty popular where they're from. Add in the fact that she's a random shitposter who I would probably think is a bot if she didn't have so many selfies and it's an entirely odd situation. I hope one day we find out the truth one way or the other. It's so weird how little proof there is of anything she talks about as she makes it seem like it was so well known. Other than the one paragraph of an interview that she posted a small picture of, there wasn't anything and even that was snipped so it could be completely out of context. I don't get why she didn't post the whole thing, it would've definitely helped because I can't find any of this stuff at all. Maybe I'm missing something, someone will probably find it one day and post it here and that's all you can ask for.

Yeah, it's weird because if it was just her then I'd be like "okay, just a random chick dissing a band for some reason" and then listen to them again because I REALLY like the song "SPRORGNSM" but the fact that it's her and that other post on here as well as some random hits here and there lead me to believe that something happened.

Yea, I'd definitely like to hear where the two or three people here found out. Maybe there's something we just can't find that's much more expansive. Ugh.

Someone should post it on their wiki and see what happens
