I just bought Vagrant Story for Vita so I'll let you know how I like it. I've heard nothing but good things.

I couldn't get into the Binding Of Issac. The gameplay mixed with the edgyness of it all really bothered me, but I might give it another shot.

I just tried playing Shadow Of The Colossus remake and stopped after beating two Colossi. Beautiful world and creature design, but the controls and camera angles really pissed me off.

I have owned Transistor for a while and still haven't touched it haha.

 

Is DK Tropical Freeze any good? I need some more Switch games

 

Man I need to play Transistor again. Super Giant games are so visually pleasing, but gameplay wise Transistor was the only one I didn’t eventually get bored of.

 

So here's MY take on it. I want to preface that this is my very biased opinion. It's a fine game. The soundtrack is incredible and the game has a lot of levels, challenges, collectibles and enough variety in mechanics and environments to keep someone entertained for a good amount of time.

However, something about it...I can't put my finger on it, just feels a little off. I'm very partial to the SNES series and this doesn't seem to have the same charm for some reason. Maybe it's the fact that it has a lot going on in comparison or something, but it doesn't get well for me personally.

So from a personal standpoint, it's not really my cup of tea, but for anyone else who really likes platformers and enjoys DK, I think it's a home run for that audience.

 

Hm, I'll probably wait for a price drop at least. I still haven't even played BOTW yet lol

Last Nintendo console I owned was the SNES. I would have played the shit out of AL2tP if I had known what good video games were back in 4th grade.

 

It’s one of my favorite games so I’d say yes.

XII Zodiac Age has been in my backlog since someone got it for me as Birthday present last year lol

 

Yeah^ that’s the version I have on my PS4. Assuming it’s the definitive edition. My friend gifted it.
