I’m still pretty drunk, damn

 

Still love heavy music. Some good stuff coming out of our scene and the fringe/hipster and metal scenes that pique my interests. Listen to a lot of it still for nostalgias sake, but I do often find that a fair amount of what I liked years ago doesn’t hold up for me anymore.

 

I’m the opposite, I listen to more alt rock than post hardcore now

 

Well i should add i also listen to more folk and slowcore stuff than i ever did before too. More of everything. I'm all over the map.

Speaking of heavy stuff, I really hate the lead single off of the new Underoath album. It doesn’t help that I hear it 15 times a day at work.

 

What other music do you hear a lot at work?

 

That song, a single from Starset, Janelle Monae’s “Make Me Feel”, and like 3 other songs from random rock bands play on loop in every theater

 

I tried playing my kind of music for my students over the last couple of days of school when we were just kinda shootin the shit. Played After Laughter for them and they were like “ugh, play something new, not this old boring stuff”....

These kids love Jake Paul so idk what I expected

 

When I worked at Publix, Say by John Mayer played EVERY. DAMN. DAY. 5 times a day it seemed. I hate that fucking song.

 

Should of cranked the It Follows soundtrack instead!

I hadn’t but just did. Didn’t do much for me, but the music video for the original version is one of my most viewed videos of the past year probably lol I think the lyrics are really boring but it’s such a fun guitar song. Love oli’s part too as brief as it is.
