Camisado (slightly tougher, but not too bad)

Time to Dance (definitely the toughest one for me this round, i'll go with this one even though i expect it to lose)

 

Really? I voted for But It's Better If You Do, but fully expect it to be taken out by Time to Dance.

 

I purposely voted before I saw any totals so I wouldn't be subconsciously swayed haha

I guess I always just thought that But It's Better If You Do was more of a fan favorite.

Camisado (this one's tough because I probably have come to like Esteban more, but I have more attachment to Camisado from when the album first came out that is enough to push it on top)

Time to Dance (also tough, but I think But It's Better is slightly overrated, and the "shotgun, wedding" part of Time To Dance is just way too much fun)

 

Fair enough! I've always figured Time to Dance was the second most popular song (after I Write Sins) since it seems to be the only other song from this album that Brendon will still play occasionally on tour.

Then again, Chorus posters aren't your average P!ATD fans and probably care more about deeper cuts.

 

I always thought Time to Dance was widely considered their best song because it's been my favourite for the majority of their career. I do only listen to the demo version though.

 

Huh, yeah, I love the chorus.

My top 3 for this record would be The Only Difference, Camisado, and Build God

To me, Build God, Tables are Numbered and Better if you Do are far and away the best three songs on this album.

I enjoy every song on the album but none of the others touch the three above in my opinion.

 

The whole album is great, so I can’t be mad at any of these rankings.

I know Build God is a sick song and all but I am very surprised at the blowout against Honey.

 

There's a good reason for it. You just haven't thought of it yet.

Which version does this thread prefer? I've always thought the demo was way better but I listened to that for years before I heard the actual album version so I may be biased.

Album version would be a lot better if it kept the bridge from the demo

 

I like how clean the album version intro sounds but I did miss the prechorus a lot. Verses also felt a little busy. I’ll side with the demo but not a huge difference for me.
