Melo doesn't give a fuck about anything these days. CP would be having nightly aneurysms trying to motivate him if Melo goes there (and actually sees the court)

i agree, but i feel like CP is so serious and endlessly pissed off during games that Melo's nonchalance attitude would quickly wear thin during games.

I feel like Melo in gs wouldn’t be that horrible because he would just be dominating possessions on bench minutes mostly. I could be wrong, but I don’t see he who he is taking important minutes from.

 

Melo has given no indication he is willing to accept that role, though, which is a big part of the problem.

If he is fine playing 15-18 minutes per game in the regular season and then 10 minutes or so in the playoffs...ok cool.

But everything I have seen from the man suggests otherwise.
