Haha a part of me didn't want to post anything, but at least I know I'm not crazy and was on to something.

 

New fan here, I think I have all their commercially available stuff now.......but does anyone know anything about this "Covers EP" ?? Or where to get it?

The VIP package for the tour last year came with a digital download of a 4 song cover EP

You have to search the deep web to find it but it's great

Speaking of Menz covers, their I Won’t Back Down cover is really good too.

 

As a huge Petty fan, all I can say is, that's fucking rad

Yeah, this version is better than a fan concert rip. I think a Covers EP recording would have been great.

 

Long shot but if anybody is at the show tonight, any chance you have the set times?

 

Do we reckon we get a new album next summer from these guys? It's been over a year and a half since ATP and it still feels fresh to me, but I definitely think they should be aiming to have a record out by next summer.

 

They're going into the studio after this upcoming headliner so I think Summer is definitely a safe bet!

 

Setlist on their current run is v good and I really hope they keep it for the fall

 

soooo I was driving home and happened to go to menzingers spotify page right as midnight rolled around, and much to my surprise they dropped a brand new song out of the blue! it's called The Freaks and it's awesome! A Tom song, and it reminds me of the Rented World era

Oh shit! It's "Harley Sue", the Tom song from the Roger Harvey show!

 

Definitely one of the best Tom songs of the past few years. I know he's been reading about enjoying songwriting again and how to optimise creativity and if that's a product of it, it really shows.
