I can see Bloodborne 2 from From/Miyazaki on the PS5 in like 2020/2021, or I can see Sony having Japan Studio make it without From/Miyazaki for the PS4 next year. Really not sure what to make of that leak tbh

has anyone played pillars of eternity 2? picked it up at the weekend to scratch an itch before Divinity 2 is out. Haven't had a chance to sit down with it yet unfortunately

Dark Souls II was made without Miyazaki and that’s easily my least favorite Souls game so yeah I agree

 

i still gotta finish dark souls. i might restart tbh. the slog to bosses just became too unenjoyable around Seath

I keep remembering that it’s the mid point of the year. What a long six months.

 

It's already been discussed in this forum, but I'm about 50% through Rise Of The Tomb Raider atm. Really enjoying it although some parts are a bit draining. Looking forward to the next one.

Last Of Us is on my shame pile. Never finished it. Got stuck at an underground Bloater and haven't picked it up since. It's on once I finish Tomb Raider.

 

also playing The Walking Dead s2. telltale is such a funny studio to engage with. one on hand, it's really just a linear, fairly predictable cutscene. on the other hand, it's still fun to exert small acts of interactivity onto the medium such that when the narrative works, i don't have a problem with it. but, it does become a bit frustrating when obvious options are not provided to the player because of the character ( Clementine doesn't grab her gun, leading to Omid's death). Clementine is a much more engaging protagonist than Lee, tho.
