I like JJ and all, but it's not going to help beat the Celtics. They really took advantage of his lack of size in the playoffs.

  2. As they should. Portland should get on the phone

    We BETTER trade Kevin Love.

  6. Tyreke Evans meeting with Hornets. That’s cool I guess.

I wouldn’t mind the bulls giving Jabari a chance at this point. Especially since they seem to love broken guys.

Can't believe this is where I'm at right now, but here it goes:

    PG: Sexton, Hill, Calderon
    SG: Hood, JR, Clarkson
    SF: Cedi, Korver, Preston
    PF: Love, Tristan
    C: Nance, Zizic

My guess is they'll hang onto Love until about the trade deadline seeing as they'll need some sort of face to sell tickets. Hill, JR and Korver are all trade/buyout candidates considering they're all non-guaranteed for 19-20. Might actually be able to get a draft pick for Korver from a playoff team desperate for shooting closer to the deadline (Hi Lakers!). Calderon is a free agent, but I'd sign him again for another year just so Sexton has someone to mentor him. Hi, I'm @ncarrab and I'll be the only one in here for the next decade still talking about the Cavs...

They’ve got Laurie, WCJ, Bobby Portis, Robin Lopez, Felicio’s awful contract, and Asik’s awful contract.

Jerry isn’t gonna pay Jabari on top of that. And I’m sure they want to at least try and give Portis and Felicio a chance.

Probably for the min? Or is this where they are spending their 5 million MLE?

Not a bad flier to take. Still hope they stretch Melo.

    Edit: Apparently it’s a 2 year deal with a P.O. in year 2.

What’s so confusing about advocating for a team to pay $21 million / year for four years to a player that doesn’t deserve it because it will lend “credibility” when said team pursue as of yet unknown future free agents?

That’s how successful franchises are run, no?
