Yvette Nicole Brown Replaces Chris Hardwick On ’Walking Dead’ Panel

 

Never watched the show, never will (especially now) but it’s still nice knowing Yvette Nicole Brown hosting over Chris Hardwick.

 

It’s just for comic-con.

 

Well, the 2nd season was by far the shittiest, so he might wanna stop claiming credit for that story.

 

No way, Season 2 is one of the best.

I could see Rick not getting killed off, but captured by the Whisperers, and out of the picture for a season and a half.

 

Knowing all the stupid shit this show has pulled, I would not be stunned if they're playing this Rick is leaving arc only so when he returns in a year (or in the season 9 finale) it'll be another 'gotcha' surprise moment.

Looking at Andrew's IMDB page, it doesn't seem he has anything else in the works as of yet.

 

The joke has been done to death, but saying "he's hiding under a dumpster the whole time" never gets old. Would not surprise me either.

 

I gotta say...I liked the trailer.

 

Just finished up season 8 last night.

I had watched the first half of the season when it aired (or at least within a few days of each episode airing) but when the second half came back I found it a bit hard to care anymore. Finally a couple weeks back I decided to press on and finish the season. I think it was better than the first half (really low bar there!) but definitely not what the show used to be.

The Whisperers storyline is decent (at least in the comics) but the show will probably stretch it out way too long.

 

I've been excited for the Whisperers to show since it is a great storyline in the comics. However, there's a lot of great storylines in the comics that are just mediocre in the show so i'm not holding out any faith.

 

It’s going to be so different from the comics with Carl not being around for the Whisperers storyline.
