You’re a year early on the METN, but it’ll most likely just be The Stuffing.

Most everything else I see being way later.

Can’t wait for the Simple Math anniversary show, because I feel like I’ve only heard maybe half of those songs live.

It’s a shame they don’t play Where Have You Been as much anymore. It’s one of my favorite live songs by any band.

From what I've been told, it's a heavier darker yin/yang to Simple Math.

So, basically my dream record from this band.

Playing Rejoice live and not having it appear on Simple Math or anybfollow up record was odd. Since we are all aware of its existence, I feel like putting the songs or Sinful Math as a whole Out would be awesome. I’m guessing it’s just a collection of non album tracks, but it’s from a period of this band some of us love most.

Cope and Hope are the same songs though.

What other Sinful Math songs have been played live? I am under the impression that is what they were calling the other songs that didn’t fit the album. Since Andy writes a lot, they’d natural have a different or heavier vibe.

Also, Simple Math was a slight concept album. Nothing overt, but I though Andy said in an interview it was like parts of a conversation with God or something. It’s been a long while since that albums been released so don’t mind me if I’m a little off on that.

It’s a 7 minute magnum opus that Manchester wrote played live and never released... still don’t care?

The exact quote I’ve seen is sinful math was a grungy, weird version of simple math and it’s where they got the idea of doing hope. You can find that quote with the Hope press release I think.

  23. awakeohsleeper

    I do not exist.

Magnum opus? High praise! Clearly the band don't agree or else they would have released it...?

I think it just didn’t fit with the sound of the record. Or maybe it didn’t translate well on tape? Idk but the live version gives me chills
