Her rendition of You Missed My Heart is one of my favorite songs of the past decade for various reasons previously stated in this thread. It's perfect.

You Missed My Heart is fucking me up right now. Her voice is so beautiful and haunting.

And credit where it’s due to Kozelek - he might be a grumpy asshole, but Jesus that guy can write some lyrics.

Me and my wife are visiting my family in Vancouver this summer. We wanted to do a day trip to Seattle while we’re out there. We figured we should check to see if there are any shows we wanna see in Seattle that day. Next thing you know......


IM SEEEEEING PHOEBE IN JULY

 

Yeah she just announced like 2 or three dates, Seattle being one of them!

Also I'm seeing Phoebe again next month since Eugene was one of those dates fuck yeah!

 

she just played a fest there last weekend that's why this show was just announced

 

Just checked and there’s a Portland, Maine date for July 27th. Could’ve sworn there wasn’t one when I looked a month or two ago. Instantly purchased tickets, of course.

 

I also bought tickets today to see her in July!

 

Just wanted to share that the girl I've been dating for the past couple months surprised me with these three Angela Deane prints (she did Phoebe's cover art, as well).





So yes, I'm hanging on for dear life.

 

Just realized today that my passport is expired and I probably won’t be able to see Phoebe or go to Seattle anymore

whens your trip? i'm pretty sure you can file an expedited/emergency renewal but you will have to shell out for it.
