Time travel stories hardly ever finish in a satisfying way I think. Life Is Strange for me was about the slice of life moments.

 

Max and Chloe laying in bed together listening to Bright Eyes is one of my favorite moments in all of video games

I think Before the Storm has a more satisfying story overall because of how much more grounded it is, though

 

I'm a year late but I just started yesterday, they've added and changed a lot. I've been having fun ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ it was on sale for $20 on steam, not sure it still is

 

I enjoyed before the storm a lot and I think I prefer Rachel and Chloe's relationship.

Trying Shadow of War again. I think I just hate it.

 

I had to force myself through it. Not sure why I couldn’t get into it

 

Yeah I had to force myself to finish Shadow of War. Felt obligated to as my dad bought me the gold edition as a birthday present lol

 

Legit have the schedule printed out and hung up for this. Actually took Thursday and Friday off for this.

 

Just a personal opinion: don't force yourself through something you don't like. It's ultimately not worth it.

Alright just beat DMC2 as part of my first time series playthrough.

I'm getting a Switch this weekend

Until then, the newest gaming device I own is a DS Lite, followed by a Gamecube. I don't think I'm even ready

 

Whoa...that's crazy.

It's baffling.

I am baffled.

 

I'm actually kinda stressed about it. Like, I've played the system over at friends' places on several occasions, but suddenly having a system that is current generation is so foreign to me. I know it's silly to fret over it but like I mentioned, it's been like 15 years since my last current gen console. So much has changed!

 

It will be wonderful. I can understand how different it might be, but it's really intuitive. If there's anything you need help with or don't understand, just ask!

It cannot be overstated how much better Fallout 4 is on a Xbox One X. Like the framerate improvements are just fantastic. Would not have guessed it would matter since their games aren't the best as far as performance/polish, but damn is it awesome with the extra power.

Also, Forza Horizon 3 in 4K w/ HDR and 30 fps is glorious.

 

Finally picked up HZD today

 

The Switch is so basic in a good, well designed, focused way that the transition from a DS/GCN shouldn't be too rough. The Switch does not suffer from feature overload, unlike the other consoles (arguably). That's probably a part of why it does so well.

 

Maybe they'll replace some of their writers too and make a decent conclusion to one of their seasons for once.

 

Horizon Zero Dawn is gorgeous. Holy shit
