I don't think I've ever seen this interview before. Didn't realize there was a time earlier on where Travis sat out a tour.
Also, weird seeing Tom without his full arm sleeve.

 

What is Tom doing that keeps him so busy? Does AVA ever tour?

 

Do you have any idea how time consuming it is to announce an announcement?

 

Can't see the video but was this in 2000ish when he broke something, I think maybe his hand, in a fight and had to miss a few dates and someone from Fenix TX filled in?

 

Haha great memory! Yeah he got into a fight in a Taco Bell parking lot and broke some fingers.

I can see that being a direction +44 would’ve gone, stylistically.

 

Psycho is really, really good. Never heard of her but will instantly go check her out!

 

Blood Brothers is maybe the best song I have heard all year. Gonna be a summer jam for me for SURE

 

Drive you mad is my fave Amy Shark song. Only heard of her cos someone posted an interview on this thread that she wanted to work with Tom. She always sings her "i" sounds like "oi" in Tom style so you can tell she's a hardcore blink fan haha.

 

Damn, that was an awesome song. Took me back to the +44 days. I wouldn’t not mind Amy and Mark writing an album together after hearing that. So awesome.

the amy shark song is legit 10x better than anything blink-182 has done since 2003

 

I’ve listened to it like 13 times since yesterday. It’s honestly great.

 

Really? California sounds like it could have been the follow up album to Enema/TOYPAJ. It has the fun summer pop feel to it like those other two albums.

But yeah I agree with you, I hate when bands say "the new album sounds like an old album meets our best album", it usually never ends up sounding like that.
