The original reminds me of Halloween for some odd reason.

The terminator series only has 2 films. T1 and T2. The rest are just fan films.

I really liked and don't get the hate for T4/Salvation.

I think of T1/T2/T4 as my trilogy :-)

Salvation is just boring as sin

I actually might put 3 above 4 just because 3 you can have some dumb fun with

For me 3 was just a rehash of T2. T5 was the one I'd put under the boring as sin. The action was so uneventful and bland and acting was terrible even though it had good people in it.

I like that T4 tried something new and would have liked a sequel to see John actually fighting the war.

I don't think I'll be excited about Infinity War 10 years from now, but if I were to take all the Thor scenes and edit them into their own short film, I'd honestly revisit it a ton for years to come.

I'm still bummed about what it did with Thor's arc in Ragnarok, especially that stupid eye decision. But, as a comic book fan who doesn't mind constant resets as long as I enjoy the stories (though, yes, in a movie context, it's still narratively awful), I've thought about the Thor plot line more than anything else in that film. Such a cool, fun, gripping, well acted journey, with a solid mix of mythology and comic-book-y nonsense.

I still think Infinity War was great and I loved it, super pumped for next year

I've been ignored on this before but what is it about the eye piece that bothers people for his narrative? Of all the things he lost I put his eye at the bottom of the list. I don't get the significance behind that one aside from him looking like Odin and Hela being like "ugh now you really look like Dad." (Yes I get losing an eye would suck, but he also lost his father, his home and hammer in the same movie).

It's just the fact that people are upset nothing really stays permanent. Like he JUST lost his eye and his hammer and was told he's the god of thunder not the God of hammers which basically means have more faith in yourself and your powers, the weapon doesn't make the man and then his whole plot in IW is getting a new weapon right after getting his eye back. It's really fucking stupid.

Totally get that. I loved Ragnarok. I guess I just saw the eye complaint separately, so for whatever reason I forgot about the connection between losing his hammer and getting the axe in IW.

Yeah, I definitely though Rag was the best out of the Thor movies, and still is, but IW just undercuts the impact.

I understand why people dislike Thor depending on another weapon for Infinity War, but look at who he was up against. He can’t fist fight his way through someone with the infinity gauntlet.

It's all made up, he can do whatever the writers tell him to do. All these character's powers are so vague and ill-defined that no one would bat an eye of Thor took on Thanos with lightning and his bare hands. Cap seemed to handle himself fine.

I know that moment was made for the trailers and looked so great, but in the actual movie, grabbing Thanos's hand in the movie and holding it back felt so off, esp after Hulk and Thor were completely powerless at the beginning of the film.

After the opening scene involved Thanos destroying the Hulk in 30 seconds and Thor bloody and beat up, I believe people would bat an eye if they wrote Thor beating him in a fist fight later on in the film.

Cap held him for like 5 seconds and Thanos instantly knocked him out with one punch afterwards. I don’t think that scene felt off. From the look on Thanos’ face you could tell he wasn’t even trying.

but they wouldn't have written thor beating him because that's not the plot of the movie
