Probably my favourite DS game.

 

The best DS game is Princess Debut.

 

Cultural appropriation is about the removal of an artifact of culture from its context. It stops being what it was, and becomes some kind of commodity, to gain financial or social capital. Unless the instrument is only to be played in a certain context I don't really see how something could be less cultural appropriation. A guy who dedicated his life to the craft and presumably adheres to, respects, and understands the traditions seems to be well within the original cultural context of the art. I don't think the definition of cultural appropriation as "when a white person does something another race invented" is a workable one at all.

 

I think it was and is fine. Let's move on to something else.

 

I would totally invest in PS Now if this happens, I feel like the lag that occurs with streaming is its true Achilles heel.
