That's really hard because I love all three songs.

Picking my least favorite song on Vhiessu is like picking a least favorite child. It's in my all time top 10 albums for a reason haha. This includes the outtakes. What an album/era for them.

 

I know! I spent the most time thinking about Vheissu. "Glory" is just sooooo good. It's understandable why they later regretted not finding a place for it on the record.

 

I think like moths to flame is such an original sounding song and it’s part of what makes vhiessu such a huge milestone in the bands career. Everyone was making screamo post hardcore records and thrice release this album full of these dark epic masterpieces. The “ive never been this cold” screaming part may be my favorite moment in their whole discography.

I wouldn’t take anything that people say on here too personally. Like you said, some people here appreciate your posts and enthusiasm so maybe just engage with those peope.

Broken Lungs is a fantastic song. Weird seeing it at the bottom of the Air EP for someone. I would easily put As The Crow Flies at the bottom

mike j has every right to post whatever he wants wherever he wants but i think its ridiculous to think people are coming at him for how much he likes the band lol. people are coming at him because he posts legitimately head scratching shit that makes no sense whatsoever frequently.

 

i love this band. it is the one thing i agree with mike on. if he posted about how much he liked them like a coherent adult, that'd be one thing. it's the "the grey jedi" and the TEPPOW and KENSBOOM shit that leads to him getting attacked. obviously lol.

 

Also shit like "I'm surprised at how many people got into them through TAITA" like bruh c'mon. That's like saying "I'm surprised people got into Jimmy Eat World through Bleed American."

Let the self appointed keepers of chorus be assholes. It’s what they do.

Just make sure not to give them shit for any of the under thought opinions or bad inside jokes they may have.

Also make sure to talk about which song(s) made you cry so you look sensitiive but always come off brash when sharing other opinions so they think you are tough / smarter than everyone else.

There were 2-3 more sentences that continued that thought. Out of context, it sounds ridiculous, of course. TAITA was the third Thrice record my circle and I had heard as of its release. So, I'm just not used to TAITA being the entry point. Again, that all stems from location. Just because I found the band sooner, it doesn't make me a bigger fan than anyone who found the band through TAITA.
