A lot of people don't read up on every last bit of news for games still several years way. I had no idea it was an FPS and while that isn't a dealbreaker for me, not everyone likes that genre so its understandable there is some disappointment.

 

I rewatched the Nintendo presentation, and can confidently say it was my favorite - a lot of the games they showed are releasing this year. Before they focused on smash, they played a montage and man, those were a lot of games.

I think Microsoft’s show was really impressive because they showed they are investing in the future and listening to fans, but Nintendo also did that and had more games releasing this year that I was more interested in.

Either way I think this was a good E3. A bit bummed that Sony was just giving updates on what they announced last year, but those and the few new games they announced look really promising.

I guess that makes sense, just struck me as odd because I figured people following the game would have known that since they were pretty open about it.

 

Yeah, idk. It’s a reasonable holiday lineup but this year has been completely barren so I expected better, I guess. The real disappointment is realizing this means it’s more than 2 years to probably multiple of Animal Crossing, Metroid, 2d Mario, 2d Zelda, Retro’s game, and that Metroid Prime trilogy hd is never happening.

 

The trailer they showed for Cyberpunk was in game eninge yes? Cuz if so who cares if it’s FPS it’s still going to be a very RPG minded game, and CD Projekt Red know what they’re doing.

Plus it looks god damn gorgeous

 

Is the issue people have with FPS games motion sickness or something? I prefer FPS over third person any day of the week.

 

FPS, TPS, IDC.

 

I just want to live out my Blade Runner fantasies. Cyberpunk 2077 is the only way I’ll be ever to do that.

Like I have, and many people, have said before: Nintendo does multiple Directs throughout the year. I am 100% sure we will get more news on titles you will be interested in soon.

 

I'm slightly disappointed about Cyberpunk being first person just because I prefer third person games, especially if they invilin melee combat. Can't think of any game that's had good first person melee combat.

 

I hope the abundance of Easter eggs are in cyberpunk.

I just wanna see this 45 minute Cyberpunk demo journalists are talking about.

 

I pretty much only play Fallout in first person so this does not bother me. That Cyberpunk trailer is an all time great imo.

 

Their doing a developer sit down in a few hours for the game but I highly doubt we see gameplay before Gamescom

 

Not quite. Nintendo can release things in a pretty short window. Animal Crossing could be announced next January and released in September. You never know.
