South Park is one of the best animated shows ever. Shame about the show's politics though, as well as the thousands of fans who have, well, let's just say learned the "wrong lessons" from the show

Once I outgrew my appreciation of the juvenile humor I noticed how condescending and up it's own ass the show's politics were. I can't appreciate it at all

 

Don't know what it says about me, but I still enjoy a vast majority of episodes on reruns. I see your point tho

sometimes SP is good and sometimes its not (alot more recently)

the best episodes are the ones that arent current events that just focus on some dumb shit with the boys at school

yeah when you remove the politics it is sometimes tolerable. Still does a lot of dumb stuff though

 

some episodes/plotlines of South Park have definitely aged terribly, the whole thing with Mrs. Garrison is insanely transphobic, some episodes are still great though like Scott Tenorman

 

yeah it was transphobic for the time it aired too, especially since it's such an antagonistic unlikable character

Yeah, so many SP episodes are not as good as when they first aired, and not just the topical ones

I hope I don't look too bad agreeing with these points when I originally said it's one of the best animated shows ever

 

I want people to enjoy what they enjoy. Personally, I find nothing enjoyable about South Park; probably been that way for 10 years or so.

 

Not enough people talk about how South Park more or less compared someone wanting a sex change to wanting to be a fucking dolphin
