  11. Hey! I'm doing pretty well, slept for most of the morning and I'm feeling pretty drowsy, tbh. I over slept. Should be a lovely weekend

    How are you doing?

I love the fact that you quilt. How long have you been doing it?

Enjoy oversleeping while you can! I don’t even have it as an option these days.

A1 is a scary place. She and I are Facebook pals and chat there occasionally. She might be the funniest active poster on my timeline.

I can’t even imagine. I tried to learn how to crochet last year and couldn’t even get the initial steps down.

For you and @Mary V, I’m doing well. Sad that I have to start back at work on Monday and don’t get to spend all day, every day with my wife and kids.

But we just watched the first episode of Riverdale (@Kingjohn_654) since we caught up on Westworld yesterday, and now I’m about to do wash the dishes while my wife feeds the baby and heads to bed.

Why do you feel A1 is scary? Genuine question.

Riverdale is great, still need to catch up on S2.

Oh and I actually had to teach my wife how to crochet haha

I made a couple little quilts when I was a kid, but I haven't been doing it consistently really. I have three right now that are in progress though (two baby quilts and a king size one [literally taking me forever]). I'm hoping to finish up one baby quilt in the next week or so and then finish the other little one shortly after that.

A1 was intimidating for me at first because it felt like everyone was so close to each other but it’s very entertaining there

That's awesome, I was gonna ask how you had time to quilt but it sounds like you've been taking your sweet time haha!

Don't you do other crafty type things?

It’s all just inside jokes, weird conversations, or food talk.

The very beginning of a project/starting the first chains, is the hardest part in my opinion. Have you thought about knitting? Most people tend to prefer one over the other, so if crocheting isn't really doing it for you, you could try that out. They are both a little hard to wrap your brain around in the beginning, but once you get past that, they are both very satisfying ways of creating IMO.

I'm sorry to hear that your leave is ending :( I hope you and your family have an awesome weekend before you have to go back on Monday.

Yeah I really don't have time haha. I moved my machine to the kitchen table for the time being though, so at least when the kids are playing I can sit down and still keep an eye on them.

I do like to make in general. It's hard to find time to work out all of my ideas though haha.

That's all 100% accurate. We do like to argue about food. Alot of times it's about my shitty tastes on "food" if you could call what I eat edible.
