Getting my ass kicked up and down today in overwatch.

Time to return to FFX for my sanity.

Just got a POTG where I only got one kill and only 20% of it? Interesting call.

 

I got a shutdown POTG and it looked so bad, like if it wasn't me I'd have been like "does that guy know what he's doing?" Anyway, I was on a terrible team that game.

 

My time in the Witcher was horrible today. I restarted my game and I cannot get past these enemies in multiple quests. I'm playing on death march, but I don't remember it being this hard last summer.

 

I'm currently watching this E-Sports documentary on Netflix called All Work All Play and this is such a fascinating thing for someone who knows nothing about LoL/Starcraft. It's also pretty cool to see that these teams all live together in the same houses and how these things work.

It's also a bonus because they are showing scenes from when they had the NA tournament in San Jose at the Sharks Tank aka my favorite hockey team arena.

 

So as of 3AM EST on 05/28 I'm rank 10,028 in the overwatch world

but

my Bastion is Rank #46. Ain't no shame.

I didn't even really use it much at all today haha.

Onto the final chapter of Uncharted. What an amazing game. Really glad I've taken my time with it, playing one chapter a night. Feel like it helped me take the experience in.

 

I'm also down for this too!

 

What part are you finding so tough? I just finished the main game on death march and must have only died about 10-15 times the entire game and some of those were from fall damage. I found it surprisingly easy. @Dirty Sanchez

What time today is good for you guys

 

Killing this level 10 drowner in a Triss quest, killing 2 foglets in a side quest, killing the 2 wraiths who are taking on Geralts appearance. :(

Are you making use of signs and potions? On normal difficulty I rarely needed to but on death march it was a necessity.

Foglets are easier to kill if you use Axii on them before they disappear, practice dodging/rolling at just the right moment as they reappear or they will just break your guard.

Same goes with wraiths, but with those you will want to use Yrden to trap them or they just go transparent and hit you hard.

Drowners don't like fire so try Igni or bombs, but my biggest advice is to upgrade Axii so you can turn enemies on each other, then whenever you come across more than one you can make one take the others out for you. That was a huge life saver.

 

I am using Quen a lot, but everytime I get hit, another foglet jumps out and one hit kills me.

 

You can always run unless the quest demands that you kill them. I didn't use Quen as much as I thought. I relied on Axii a whole lot more. The upgraded Quen is also a great skill because it can give you health regen during battle if you get hit.

Foglets are a bitch throughout though, the best advice I have is to watch very carefully for one about to appear from the fog and instantly roll. Just keep moving and maybe experiment with Axii or Aard to keep them away from you.

 

Thanks for the advice. All these quests require that I kill them haha. I think I'm just going to go explore the world more and blow up some monster nests and do other things to rank up. I'm only a lowly level 5 haha. Last year, I played until I got to level 25 or so on death march and I never remember having such trouble lol.

 

Oh yeah 5 is kinda low for killing level 10s. Possible but not fun. Once you hit level 10 the game really eases up I thought.

 

The level 6 quests are proving too much for me too hahaha. I'm tempted to reload my save from last year and continue there. If I do that, I'll try to brush up on the story online because I've forgotten a lot (that's why I restarted).

 

Yeah I did the exact same thing. Started again over about a month ago because I never finished first time around and forgot everything. Everything came back right away though and in hindsight I wish I'd just continued that old save. Though I did get the trophies for higher difficulty settings so at least there's that.

 

Overwatch is great, but it needs challenges/bounties.

 

12 pm pst and on is fine with me.
