Let's talk about pop-punk. Let's not let this become like that Facebook group that shall not be named.

does Somos count? because Temple of Plenty is a goddamned masterpiece

also, if AGBPOL counts, that's my fav band doing this shit - I need a new album

last one I enjoyed was Knuckle Puck tho

actually the Grizzly and blah one was the last one - it was pretty catchy...

The Ergs rule, my only real contribution.

I love that first Somos record but it's unbearably overproduced

how so? I mean it's compressed but I suspect that happens with most contemporary pop-punk records... the Knuckle Puck album too... the vinyl record sounds pretty good, tho...

The guitars have these weird effects put on in parts (i.e. the end of "Distorted Vision"), and the drums sound like shit, which I'm pretty nitpicky about in general

Anything under the radar dropped this year? Don't like much new stuff but still love all of the late 90's early 2k records.

just listened to them today for first time, really good stuff.

I need to revisit Copacetic. It is one of the better new pop punk albums in quite awhile, at least for the more popular wave of bands.

Looking back at 2011 Gospel aged much better for me than Suburbia. Don't know if anyone feels the same way.

I can't stop laughing, that song was hilarious.

Really interested to hear Matt Pryor and Mike Hererra's songs. Also, surprised that Mark and Matt didn't get in on this since they were writing children's songs together before Matt joined blink
