It's nobody's battle but your own. Prestigious

Cool that one too then. How is the Architects album? I've never listened to them before. What @jorbjorb said above makes me want to give them a try too. What would you say RIYL's are for them?

The Home Inside My Head is miles above Maybe This Place Is the Same and We're Just Changing. Such a decent sophomore record and exactly where I'd expect them to be at this point.

Saying it's decent isn't really much of a compliment haha

If I said anything other than decent, I would have gotten eaten alive on this site haha

I don't know. This site seems a lot more positive than AP. A lot of people still dislike them but I don't think anyone would attack you for liking it

Be kind; everyone is on their own journey.

Had no idea about Catfish, been jamming The Balcony for a long time...heard them recommended on an Audiotree session as an influence, thinking the recommendation came from Sorority Noise but can't remember.

I noticed they're not in the news post so I'm assuming it might be a UK only release today. It's really good though.

Next Show - Foals April 22nd

Sorry I dropped off the face of Earth over the weekend. As you can probably tell from my avatar, the Architects album is phenomenal. I think they are a really unique band but in terms of overall style they have a lot of metalcore, hardcore, progressive and melodic roots I suppose. For RIYL I'd say maybe August Burns Red? Anyone have a better one?

I love the musicianship on the album and the way the guitars sound like a chainsaw haha.
