I have had no problem dancing at their shows

 

like how is this still the most exciting moment to be a fan of this band??? my excitement hasn't waned since I started being a fan like five years ago

 

I am jealous. I saw them in San Diego in a 2k venue and I am not exaggerating by saying half the people were videoing the whole thing and I tried to dance, but if I even put my hands up I got looks.

 

I was also the tallest person there. That probably contributed.

 

Fuck the people who gave you look, we should all try to go to shows together to ensure we have a major dance crew

 

I’ve only had the pleasure of seeing them once, but it was back in 2014 and it was nice because it was GA and my friend and I got there early enough for front row, so we got to dance the entire time

 

That's why you were getting looks I hate tall people at shows but I'm only 5'8

 

I am only 6'1, too. But yeah, my kind.

 

I take great offense to this.

But I have absolutely danced my ass off seeing this band before.

 

Oh that's not that tall my brothers about that height and we go to shows together all the time and no one gets mad

 

so we are in it with this band through next may? oh baby this is gonna be my most obnoxious year can't wait

 

I hope we get the cover art in an hour. The colors on ilwys were so pleasing.

I can finally hear the bass in this and it’s glorious.

Upon first listen; i'll be honest, I thought this was "rugged", "raw" and not "1975". Now that I've listened to it a few times through my headphones I've noticed the intricate layering. The bass I couldn't hear through the radio. The drums are still a bit iffy but I can handle those in the flow of the song. The other guitar parts, the singing, the lyrics. It's a great summer track and i'm excited to listen to it as part of the album. I enjoy it but can see how divisive this can be. As a fan; it's been a great fucking journey and i'm glad it will continue to be more of the same.

 

I was blasting the shit out of this on my way home from work and I’m fairly certain the people around me thought I was an emergency vehicle with the guitar

This music was good for in my car

 

at the last full us iliwys show in columbus someone asked me if it was my first time seeing them and how i apparently made their night. like yeah me boppin around and singing at the top of my lungs holds a candle to what’s happening up there on the stage. and yeah that was my 10th time seeing them and it never gets old.

 

Countdown to a music video you reckon?

 

I was at that show too! Drove from Chicago for it. Totally worth it.
