Seems like they took some of the better parts of PoGo and integrated them into a main series RPG. Dropping random encounters is pretty interesting. I generally prefer RPGs like Earthbound and Chrono Trigger where enemy encounters work like this game. LOVE the art direction and character models. Co-op looks like a great new element. The amount of content/game length and unseen game play elements makes it hard to judge but I'm excited for this.

 

I just would like their E3 Direct to have some genuine shockers. It would be nice to get something completely out of left field.

 

I would like more of Kanto to be shown at E3. Elite Four, S.S. Anne, Cycling road, and a working Safari Zone (less likely of this list) would make me even more stoked. I'm just nervous that a full Kanto may not be there so that GameFreak could focus on the 2019 game unless work on this game started before the Switch was released.

Hahah yeaaaaah I get about 5 minutes of battery life from full playing Pokémon go now.

This and Smash is also how you hit 40m Switches by end of next fiscal year. Animal Crossing would almost be overkill at this point but I will lose my mind if it shows up at E3.

 

Pokemon and Smash right before Black Friday. Switch is going to make a killing for sure.

 

Oddly enough all this Pokemon Go talk made me want to go back to playing Fire Emblem Heroes. Made a new account just to familiarize myself, and got like a bunch of 5 stars.

I went back to my old account and saw I had like 2 5 stars and nothing much. No wonder I quit the game, luck wasn’t on my side at all. Haha. Will have more realistic expectations this time.

So now I’m soft resetting to get good rng, which is the most Fire Emblem thing ever

 

what are the chances that Team Sonic Racing will be good?

 

Like 70% chance? I feel great about the team making it, and I really dug the last sonic racing game that I had on Wii U even though it got shit on a lot.

 

Okay, great! I thought it looked really cool but I know nothing about dev teams etc so didn't have much to go off

 

I just checked and it's not the dev team I thought it was. It's the dev team that did the last sonic racing game which, as I said, I was a big fan of. But that may not bode well for others as that game was not well received

 

ehhh, I like colorful racing games, count me in anyway!

 

Sonic and Sega racing transformed was the second best Kart racer of that generation. It was really good, just not Mario Kart 8 good. I'm pretty excited, hoping we get a remix of the theme song from sonic R ;)

 

The actual transformations were really cool. It made the minor transformations in MK8 seem pretty weak in comparison.

 

I like it a lot! Much more than I thought I would, that's for sure.

It's a rotation-based auto fighter (I'm sure someone else here is better qualified to categorize it, but that's the best I could come up with). You take a team of 3 Pokemon on "expeditions", in which they fight waves of wild Pokemon in a confined area. Similar to Xenoblade combat and character modding, but not nearly as complex. Pretty fun fremium game. I've already put about 3 hours into it and don't see myself stopping any time soon.

 

@zigbigwig I am awful at Wizard of Legend, like frustratingly bad. I'm okay until I run into enemies with spears or ranged weapons and then I lose it. what are the tips?

 

Played Quest last night and had fun. Got a little excited when a Vulpix came and joined my camp. I can see myself playing this as much as I can without dropping money on it. The battery system only lets you play for a certain amount of time every day so that’s interesting.

 

Pokemon Quest is dope, I already have a level 28 Koffing

 

It wouldn’t let me start another expedition last night when I still had 5 minutes left on my battery though. What’s up with that?

Oh nvm I googled it. Good way to keep me from staying up all night :)

 

I've noticed a lot of smartphone fremiums have that same system. It's a marketing strategy, for sure, but it works in my favor by limiting how much time I spend playing it. Maybe I'll finally finish Celeste.
