That last one in the ball park is killing me. It sounds like something I've heard before, but it also might just be something I've heard in a "Weird Al" Yankovic polka medley at some point (not joking).

Good point. We've also had a Goddanmnit tour at the 10 year. I'm assuming Good Mourning based off the song choice.

So Dolly Parton and The Misfits have both covered Great Balls of Fire.

Facebook comment picked out a lot more non-song hits as well. Some seem like a stretch but others make a lot of sense.

As soon as I saw horns and stuff I instantly just thought Op Ivy for ska purposes lol

I’m very mad it’s not until tonight though

There's a Devo action figure beneath the Sufjan record. I'm not sure how much the "little stuff" in the background actually means anything, though...

There is a Yo La tengo sticker outside the record store and an Ought poster inside the store

Yeah I was trying to make out the other records thinking they must all be related but I can’t tell what they are. I did see Elvis, was that the Costello hint and not a song playing?

Also I guess they could easily mean Jerry Lee Lewis himself but that’s pretty bizarre even for RF. Definitely the Merle kind of get.

Considering how much Riot Fest likes to call back to previous years in everything they do I wouldn't put too much into it.

I'll see you all at 8 PM. I'm not burning brain cells on this anymore today.

Trying to think if the locations could be clues as well. Baseball field - Modern Baseball, Wiener Circle - A Perfect Circle, trying to think of others.

I was just reading that Maynard will never tour in harvest season so APC is likely a stretch.

I also don't see MoBo coming back this year.

The hot dog place called The Weiner Circle could be A Perfect Circle maybe

MoBo would be the most exciting thing in the video for me at this point. I really doubt we’ll see them for a few years if at all, but if they want to come back RF would be an awesome way to do it.

Also I think it’s fair to say that Flogging Molly will be there since Dropkick is, fitting into the tour routing speculation. They’re also in the boat if I love them to death but unless they’re doing like Swagger in full I can just catch them locally. So far nothing has me planning to dump my Jawbreaker plans.

I hope it isn't 90 degrees out when Jerry Lee Lewis plays. I saw him at the congress a few years ago and it was pretty cool seeing him, but I don't want him to die just so I can see him again!

If Mobo plays it would not be a reunion I don't think. I think it'd be a one-off show. Their whole hiatus thing is kind of weird and seems like they meant to keep it kind of flexible. I don't think it'd be crazy for them to just play a quick show this weekend and then go back to the other things they're working on.

It'd also be cool to get Slaughter Beach, Dog.

I think ya'll might be reaching a bit with the Wiener's Circle allusion. It's a Chicago landmark that's been in a lot of different comedy related things in the past namely Conan/Triumph skits. They're exactly like that when you go in there too.

...their hot dogs are mediocre as sin but I'll save that for the Chicago thread.

Were there any "background" hints last year? I feel like it was mostly just what the people were saying... The Elvis Costello hint was in the radio station. "Radio, Radio" is playing.

Jerry Lee Lewis is definitely a Merle Haggard kind of get. But I feel like it would go over well, if for no other reason than people being excited to check a classic off their "list."
