yeah. learning stuff on youtube is usually pretty easy. and you can tell right away if it's something that you can do with your current tools/knowhow.

having somebody help is always very good too. even if that person also doesn't know what they're doing, it's good to have somebody to figure it out with/blame

going to do a coolant drain and replace my thermostat next weekend. also putting tint on my windows because it's so fucking hot here all the time.

i loooove sanderson/the stormlight books, going through everything he wrote for that universe outside of the stormlight archive was my big obsession for a year or so in the lead up to the new one last year.

 

Actually I started re-reading it. I've read it before but it's been years and I don't remember enough to start The Great Hunt... I don't really remember anything.

 

I'm just worried bc if I fuck it up it'll just be that much more expensive to fix, yknow?
