yeah, sanch beamed me in here from one of the b**** n** threads one day and you guys were nothing but welcoming and kind to put up with my s**tposts and asterisks and it has provided a lot of laughs because when this thread is on it is firing on all cylinders

 

There’s something incredible about the act of hand writing that digital writing, even with a clacking keyboard, won’t match.

For me it’s a lot of “complain about something, ask a question as to why it’s that way, search for an answer, maybe try to reconcile some thoughts”

Or to just go “fuuuuuuuuuuuuck I don’t want to work in retail anymore”

 

I just really have to get this off my chest

I was talking to a friend yesterday and I really think we give Alanis Morissette way too much shit for Ironic. she honestly comes pretty close in a lot of those situations even if they do sort of miss the point a bit

and ofc the age old argument that she purposefully made each situation not ironic to reflect the songs biggest irony but I'm not sure about that one

 

i don't think i'd want to live in a world where bees are that big

I was keeping a journal for a while at the suggestion of my psychologist. I kind of stopped due to life situations and thought about it yesterday but I would probably write the same stuff every day now

 

I don't disagree, but because it's much more deliberate an act I just have so much time to overthink and I judge what are essentially just recorded thoughts it's weird

you are mostly right on the money. i think this thread has always been inclusive though i can understand somebody new finding it hard to enter the conversation. it's like the equivalent of starting Lost during the fourth season. there's definitely been a lot of in-fighting publically and privately on the forums lately from certain members of certain chat threads. i don't think it's because either of those threads are non-inclusive, i think it's because certain personalities and ideologies clash. and again, what caused people to bail was how it was managed up the chain. sorry, not trying to be completely vague but i do think this is a good discussion to have and im not trying to single anyone in particular out

Update: she's looking for a job and looking to get some tattoo equipment to run a studio out of her house on the side.

She's currently living in her mom's trailer.

I don’t plan on anyone ever seeing my journals until I’m dead so I guess not thinking about permanency helps me just free write.
