i don't want to speak for dylan but if you read how that last round of shit went down and saw who was involved you might have a better understanding of why he would want to dip out. i have a lot of thoughts on this that I'll just keep to myself because im not trying to start shit and i know some of yall are friends with the other people involved. i think we can boil it down to a management issue and move on.

I guess it's partially that I'm not that invested in any of the bands involved so it's easy to be but even if it was a band I liked, as I've said before I really hate talking to people here about bands I do like. Maybe my ignorance in this situation really is paying off hah

it's really not even about a band though. i can see now why some folks kinda didn't like us starting our own chat thread a couple of years ago now. there's def a whole clique mentality thing in play here that i really think may be too far gone to do anything about.

Sorry I just meant by me not visiting any of these bands threads or checking out what's going on with said band that I'm made pretty clueless to what is happening.

I agree about the clique mentality though, it's definitely prevalent here in varying degrees of goodish/awfulness but I also understand how/why it is that way

 

I still believe we're pretty open to newcomers it's just a matter of newcomers joining in is the problem and I can definitely understand how daunting that can be

 

I successfully budged my way in here. It's all good.

i don't think it's like a huge problem rn, obviously you and several others know how to play nicely amongst chat threads. but there are a few of us that haven't. im guilty of it. i don't really know the best way to move forward but it sucks that people are leaving because of it.
