this seems like a weak argument. why would requiring spoiler tags for say, two weeks for shows that drop all the episodes at once, mean people expect spoilers forever?

you're literally having people in this thread talk about leaving the discussion because they don't want spoilers. that seems like a problem that should get fixed, not ignored.

if the concern is people getting mad because spoilers slip through, include a "it should go without saying that its the internet and the staff here are human, still enter threads at your own risk if you really care about spoilers". But at least don't allow the assholes to hide behind "well technically its forum policy that I don't have to give a shit about you, so I won't"

I don’t think this is referencing the scandal considering the season was written before the scandal broke. Seems like it was intended to just reference that he was on the show and had won a bunch of awards for it.

Wow this thread got so bad so fast lol, people care way too much about stupid things. If someone is being annoying ignore them because they want attention and if you give it to them they win, I teach third graders and that’s what I tell them.

 

Having to click spoil tags ruins MY experience.

 

I mean, as I’ve said, I’m clearly pretty bored. That Mick guy is legit pissed I am going to follow the forum policy and remind others of it.

 

If it’s a Ron Howard voice over joke they could have written/recorded it late into production, the initial allegations came out quite awhile ago, and the wording is alarming at best, so I’m not giving that joke any benefit of the doubt.
