I think I need to delete Instagram and Facebook apps from my phone again, I keep seeing people my age/a few years older much further ahead in life than I am. No matter how much I tell myself that we all move at different paces, it still bums me out seeing it. Ugh

 

I’ve felt this way often, I try to tell myself that people use social media to show their best selves and it’s not necessarily a reality of their situation. Still can feel like something that puts me in a rut or makes me feel like I’m doing something wrong. I definitely understand where you are coming from.

Lol. I did no such thing. I watched Norm MacDonald videos on YouTube until I couldn't keep my eyes open.

 

That's the same thing,. We know what happens to your hands when you see Norm

 

Totally get that. I should also delete the texting app so I don't have to read about my brother getting raises and buying a house. I'm happy for him. But it still hurts.

 

Facebook should have two feeds: a happy one and a sad one. And everyone posts on both. Happy feed: I love my job! Sad feed: I hide in the bathroom all day at my job!
