so from random sequence of events, people came for my Bros graduation, they're sleeping over, not enough beds etc etc


dad is sleeping in my room and I def cannot smoke before sleeping tonight so that kinda sucks but w/e

ever think about how Nicki Minaj is so good in features and so much less good on her own stuff? it's like she constantly steals the show on collaborative stuff but for whatever reason falls flat on her own

 

I got there at 2:10... I was supposed to leave at 2:45 for a double delivery. The first one's eat time was 3:30... I didn't even leave the store until 3:45. that is absofuckinglutely ridiculous lol
when I first got hired my job was to arrive, load up my car, and go. Now, the food is never ready and I'm apparently sitting there for an hour and a half, doing a bunch of prep work that isn't my job, and waiting and waiting and being LATE bc the managers don't know wtf theyre doing.
and it stresses me tf out to be late because i'm the one who has to deal with the angry customers, even though I was the only one on time

It is a pretty decent album.
All of their others are so good it's hard to want to revisit it much.

 

theres plenty of her solo stuff I enjoy but I also do think it's true that her features usually blow shit out of the water

 

yo that sucks and I can relate, it's fucking lame how management in the restaurant business just does not give a single fuck about their employees. and if they do it to you consistently it definitely warrants considering another job, but I'm sure the flexibility of work is attractive

I mean if I did her verse on monster I'd play it on a loop and try to figure out how I fucked up so bad as to not save that shit for myself or something

oh absolutely, I played it today bc I tried to go to another of their albums but figured I was due for another listen. I think instrumentally it's still very cool, def their most emo album in terms of actual music. Geoff can't sing for shit on that one but it leads to interesting melodies too

oh yeah her solo stuff is in the okay to solidly good range all the time but her features are fucking sick it's just such a wild dichotomy
