I've been seeing her played a lot more lately.

That also reminds me I still need to play her but I'm about 4 masteries away from Mastery X with my beloved RA.

New Wildlands trailer didn't do much for me but I'm still looking forward to it. Hope Ubi pulls it off.

 

that deus ex live action thing was.. not super great production wise but i'd be lying if i said i wasn't a little bit hyped for the new game

 

Any PC gamers got experience with NVIDIA shadow play for recording games? It's so hit and miss for me but others around the web seem to love it. Sometimes it just doesn't save my clip when I press the shortcut and other times it does save it but the video is all pixellated and fuzzy with green blocks all over it.

Alternatively, what do you use to record?

 

I record games from console but I hear OBS or Fraps works, could buy a capture card since the Elgato HD60 works a treat.

why can't overwatch hit 60fps for me i'm so sad.

Want to give Overwatch a try to see if I like it (missed the beta), but I can't justify paying the $90 it costs up here to do so.

I hate the prices of games.

 

if I had to guess, it's the graphics card. 745 is somewhat underpowered.

 

actually now that I look more closely, the 745 is actually below the minimum requirements, so it's good that you're able to run it at all.

My copy of Overwatch just arrived. I'll be firing this up over the weekend! Pretty excited.

 

Almost ordered myself a Vive as a birthday present. It's a big, unnecessary expense though.

 

Gotta have a beefy rig to run VR atm as well.

I'm not interested in any of the VR devices but if I was or am down the road I think i'd go with the Playstation VR, seems like it's gonna be WAY cheaper and pretty similar games wise.

 

I'm kind of confused with that card -- is it a PNY GTX 900? Or a Nvidia GTX 960? It seems like two different things? If it's the Nvidia GTX 960, then I'd say yes. If you can afford it, the GTX 970 is probably the best value out there, but it is a bit more expensive.

And yeah, don't go just by numbers because they don't work like you'd expect them to. If you check benchmarks you can see the 460 is actually slightly more powerful than the 745. PassMark Software - Video Card (GPU) Benchmarks - High End Video Cards

 

I am going to go with the "Wait and see" approach and will check out the VR devices once the dust has settled and a lot of kinks have been worked out.

 

I have one (GTX 970, i7) so that's no problem. Going to think it over a bit and then decide.

 

Might want to wat for the GTX 10xx card series, think they are coming this summer? Used card market may be good to take a look at as well when a new GPU line is announced.
