Well cancelling all of those Alkaline Trio shows in favor of doing blink shows probably helped him a bit.

 

I always wondered if the Blink shows were before the Trio shows that if the Blink shows would be cancelled.

 

I would think if the shows were reversed he would probably have had to cancel the blink shows, it was just too close to when he had the throat surgery.

 

I can only hope that's the case, because honestly he didn't sound fully healed at the Roast.

 

No mention NFG got one of the best and most fun shows ever.You could literally use their shows as part of cardio workout if you are in pit.

I would have to think he's better now, especially since he's been in the studio too. If he wasn't healed up I wouldn't think he'd be recording vocals already and instead resting his voice for the upcoming shows.

 

The IG blink account posted pictures today of Mark and Matt with acoustic bass/guitars so it looks like they're going to bring back the acoustic interludes which they never should have stopped doing. Now I'm getting more excited to see what they play this weekend.

Yeah most likely but still cool they're going to be playing an acoustic set, it gives off a different vibe from their usual concerts.

From memory and a quick YouTube search they played Going Away To College, Waggy, Reckless Abandon, Wasting Time, Dick Lips and Give Me One Good Reason acoustic on that Euro-tour in 2012.
