Judging by the text on the poster I'd assume MFC is coming first.

EDIT: Or maybe not since every other poster puts "MFC" next to 2019... idk

 

Could be a two part album. First part carrying the subtitle "A Brief Inquiry Into Online Relationships".

 

A brief inquiry is the instrumental electronic album, Mfc is organic and poppy

 

I would say an ep (Mfc) then an album at the start of the next year - though that would be tough to wait for. I doubt it’s a double album but holy shit if it were

 

Two 10 track albums (or something of the like) would be insane. But I highly doubt they would be split by genre/soundscapes (ambient one album, poppy stuff for another). Especially with the tone the music video seems to be going for (from the pictures)

 

They already have an EP with the same name though. Pretty sure the point was that the full length would be “Music For Cars.”

 

A Brief Inquiry is the single, dropping on June 1st. MFC is the album, coming sometime after. That's my thought, which is surely wrong.

 

I highly doubt they release a second EP called Music for Cars, and the title of A Brief Inquiry... seems to suggest if one of those is an EP title, it's the latter. Still think it's just the single though, based on the lyrics that were posted a while back.

 

I feel like this is almost certainly what's happening, lol.

 

I've seen other people mention they see that Brief Inquiry poster as possible lyrics because it rhymes but to me it reads more like a ringmaster at a circus inviting you in and welcoming you to the spectacle that's about to be performed. I suppose it could be lyrics with that intention in mind, but I get the feeling it's closer related to the teaser comics and stuff they did before ILIWYS.

 

I think if there's a physical release, definitely.

And maybe even if there isn't.

Yeah that’s a fair assessment too. It feels very similar to his lyrical cadences, but to your point that doesn’t necessarily mean they’re the lyrics to the single. @Jason Tate any thought?
