if it ends up being fox proper that makes sense, friday is where scripted shows go to die so throw a live program on there which would attract more live viewing

 

wait, what? Fox wants to get rid of the live component? they're practically saying no to better ratings.

 

do you think it stays live? the reason it's taped Tuesdays is to cut costs on moving the crazy ass setup around.

 

Well they have till 2019 to figure it out

Instead of a Monday-Tuesday set up it’ll be a Friday-Monday stage set up I’m assuming

also, i am going to be really interested to see how this helps live attendance. doing TV on a non-school night will probably be real appealing for casual fans when it's in their area

 

also they celebrated the 15 year anniversary on 10/10/2014 despite it premiering in April. id bet my ass they bill it as the 20th anni.

 

Wow I cannot believe it is going to the main FOX channel. That is a huge fucking deal. No way it goes to 3 hours then.

How many shows does UFC get on the main FOX channel? Don't they have at least one a year or am I making that up?

He was limping his way through house shows last week, so probably.

 

4 big FOX cards a year.

They could technically stay on FOX and continue to do that but they are in a massive ratings slump. UFC doesn't know how to build new stars and the ones they have fight like once a year.
