I’m pretty sure I was in 5th. Which is weird because I always thought I was younger but apparently not.
I remember once a week I had “gifted class” where I left my classroom and went to the gifted room and that’s the day it happened. All the teachers were freaking out and supposed to hide it but our gifted teacher was like well you guys are ahead for your age so you’re capable of handling this (I mean we were studying the holocaust the year before so...I guess that’s the logic) so we got to watch the news while no one else was allowed
