This thread always takes a nu metal turn but that's one of the few music phases I never had so I have nothing to contribute. I do like some Creed songs. They're melodramatic in a way I can appreciate.

Get Hurt is my favorite Gaslight album

 

I saw them live in 2008. They were pretty good and my friend hated them. That's all I remember from them .

 

The Silence is one of the weaker songs on A Black Mile to the Surface

 

I feel like too many songs on that album have their chorus go on too many times.

 

I meannnnn I love that album a lot, but that song doesn’t really do it for me

 

So this is probably unpopular, but I don't know.

I like The Pink Spiders. I know that's probably like a throwback, because most people just know them for "Little Razorblade" or "Modern Swinger", but I really like all their albums.

They just came out with a new one last weekend, their first in 10 years and I think it's really solid for the most part. I just wish I had someone to talk about them with haha.

 

My (very) unpopular opinion is that I find the album okay at best. It has a lot of great ideas and small moments but none of it adds up to me. Usually by the time song 3 is done I turn it off because I feel like the album has already been playing for 30 minutes.

 

I don't think The Gastlight Anthem are all that great. Granted, I've heard only like American Slang (the album) but like...idk. Prefer The Menzingers immensely for that type of thing

 

The Mezingers are just okay. And Fallon is mostly better on his own.

 

59 sound is basically a perfect tune though

 

I like a few Gaslight songs, but they can’t hold me for a full album.

 

The most important quality in music is actually whether or not you can fuck to it. Not in terms of setting a mood though, but rather in terms of whether their average BPM, assuming of course you can keep your thrusting in time with it, is conducive to both achieving and providing orgasms.

 

I don't know if I've ever had sex to music (maybe once?) but I don't ever want to.

 

The first three songs on that record are about as perfect a run you can have. I just don't need anything else by them really.

 

Never listened to Get Hurt. Don’t really like American Slang. Really enjoy the rest

 

American slang is their best

 

I chose Horse Feathers as the band to play on my wedding night. That's all I'll say about that.
