I always thought it was a little unfair that System of a Down gets lumped in with all those nü metal bands. They were so much more unique and interesting than their peers.

I don't think they get "lumped in" with those bands, unless you just mean in the sense that they get categorised as nu metal, which is just insult by association rather than unfair categorisation per se. I don't think most people dismiss SOAD as 'just another' nu metal band.

 

It's funny the lengths people will go to pretend they don't actually like Nickelback songs. Put on Rockstar or Animals and the whole room is going to sing along though
