I remember early on when I saw them at Past Live and I remember Dan making sarcastic jokes toward Matt about being a rock star.

 

Pathetic deserves a permanent spot on the setlist.

 

Same, none of those songs Mark posted get me excited. Almost all of them have been played pretty recently. Dick Lips without Tom would suck anyway.

 

I don’t understand why Roller Coaster and Everytime I Look For You don’t get love from Mark.

And yet there’s so many other songs on that list I had to leave out to try and stay reasonable set list length for them that I would have wanted

 

Take every Vegas show and play one album in full on each night with an encore of singles /deep cuts.

 

Then imagine what Tom Delonge has made from Blink since Matt joined.

 

Any song live WITH Tom sounds worse than the current line up does

 

If they played Roller Coaster, Everytime, Don’t Tell Me That It’s Over and Peggy Sue, that’s be a good set. Shame Mark’s completely shot it down.

 

so like... what's the big deal?! they don't like playing "What's My Age Again?" anymore or somethin?!?

Someone commented on Mark's post on Instagram suggesting Roller Coaster, Every Time I Look for You, Don't Tell Me It's Over, Peggy Sue, and Fentoolzer.

Mark responded with "I've considered your suggestions and I reject them wholesale."

 

i've always thought it would be super interesting to sit with each Blink member and ask them if there are any songs on any of their albums that they straight up didn't like, but majority ruled that they'd be recorded/put on the album. and if so, what songs and why they don't like them.

 

Don't worry guys! I told him to play "21 Days." Can't wait to see that one on the set list after Hell has already frozen over 15 times.

 

It'd be pretty cool to be a fly on the wall in their rehearsal space when they're running through songs like "Waggy" and "Adam's Song" because they most likely won't actually pop up on the setlists.

 

Or if they filmed it and then realised it on a deluxe or something.

 

Yeah same here. I'd also love to play the "Is this a real song from Neighborhoods" game with Tom because I guarantee he wouldn't remember MH or Fighting The Gravity and there's a 50/50 chance he would forget Snake Charmer, This Is Home and Love Is Dangerous.

Matt can't play the riff.

 

he's worse at "Carousel"

and not being able to play the "WMAA" riff is like not being able to play the "Dammit" riff. just sad.

 

I mean, have you HEARD Tom live since 2004? Don’t get me wrong I have respect for the guy but let’s not act like he isn’t terrible live. Matt is much better sounding.

 

Matt's a better vocalist, but Tom's a much better guitarist.

Anything that isn't a power chord Matt fucks it up.

 

I don't think either Matt or Tom is a particularly good singer, especially live. Matt has a little more control of his voice than Tom does these days, though.

 

Yeah I honestly don't think Matt is a better vocalist (not worse either), I do think Tom is a better guitarist though.

 

I obviously don’t know what goes into playing in front of thousands of people, but I don’t see how both Tom and Matt manage to mess up some of those riffs. I mean, Matt nails all the Trio stuff live, and he’s been playing guitar for so long that Blink songs should be very easy.
