Whenever a band is in town for multiple nights I'm always worried I'll get the date wrong but it hasn't actually happened

 

I did miss a show I got an $80 ticket for once just because I forgot

 

Almost missed a Kendrick Lamar show in the Section.80 era but barely remembered right as doors opened and sped to Dallas

 

Foals are the far superior British band to Arctic Monkeys...in my opinion, of course.

 

bands like Foals and Arctic Monkeys are in the group of bands I don't like

 

I missed Coheed once because I had the ticket mailed to my old address

 

in the future you could usually call up wherever you bought it from and get it changed to will call

 

I called the venue thinking it was will call but they didn’t have the ticket. This is real good advice!

 

I had to do that just this week

Got tickets for a Kendrick show on Thursday shipped to my old apartment. Got em changed to will call.... but I guess I'm fucked on the parking pass I bought

 

Foals are great

 

I’d put them in the top 3 to 5 live bands currently touring. Just an absolutely massive show every time. During the Holy Fire cycle I think they did like 300-something shows and festivals in 2013. Crazy.

 

The album After Laughter by Paramore is just okay.

 

Completely unrelated but, what is your avatar from?

 

Definitely an album where I felt like they should have Paraless for sure.

I don't know if I'm really proud of you or appalled at your existence.

 

I'm in the opposite boat. After Laughter is the first really good Paramore album. It felt completely natural to me.

 

Just popping in to say that I appreciate this trainwreck of a pun with all my heart.

 

My thoughts on AL have shifted a lot, but yeah at this point I’d say it’s the only great, complete Paramore album

 

it and BNE are very very close for me

 

AL is the only pretty much flawless Paramore album for me. But BNE comes close. And I'd put the self-titled up there too if they trimmed off a bit of the fat.

Meanwhile, Riot! is just hit after hit which doesn't make for a terrific album, but it's probably the one I've played the most. Paramore is just really good.

 

Not a hardcore Paramore fan - but find myself returning to S/T more often than any other

I reckon if they trimmed the annoying snippet songs, Fast in my Car, Daydreaming and One of those Crazy Girls off they'd have an 11 song classic

 

My thoughts on AL have also shifted all over the place, and it was my no.2 record last year, but BNE is still their best for me. S/t is frighteningly inconsistent and AL I just now have to be really in the mood for. There’s a lot of little moments in it I haven’t been able to get over.

My unpopular Paramore opinion is that Now is not only a legitimately great song, but also one of my favs by them.
