I don't know a single player on the Hungary squad. Figure I'll be familiar with a bit more of Panama's.

When I was in DC the other week, I was talking with a Panamanian guy and he was like, "That game before the World Cup, where you kept us out? I cried man." And I was like, "You know, I was as equally devastated for you. It's the first win I've never been happy about in any sport, ever." He bought me a beer before he found out I was a Barca fan, though. He was wearing a Madrid track jacket.

I don't see the issue with what Conte said. Giovinco was a fringe player at Juve and even Pirlo was really lacking in his last season at Juve, basically had to have 2 box to box mids to cover for him defensively and to push into the box.

  3. Is it a common flaw in FM that your players get injured almost every game? Or is it something I'm doing wrong with their training?

not a flaw. either bad luck, your players are injury prone or your playing/training style leads to injuries.

Being drawn Spain was too good to be true, really killed my faith in everything from that year on.

IT WAS ME, DILLION, IT WAS ME ALL ALONG!

If they have future Costa Rica Prime Minister Roy Miller playing for them, that prize is as good as yours.

  7. I know Switzerland have no real shot at winning the title but I'm cool with getting them. Ricardo Rodriguez and Breel Embolo are fun to watch.

Spurs need to hurry and sign Embolo btw

On the pitch he's a dick, but off it he seems like a really good guy. This MLS Insider is a good watch.

I don't know about this year's game, but last year or the year before, injuries were absurdly frequent. I remember people talking about it online, and people tried to use better training tactics or whatever but nothing worked, the injuries kept coming.

It really turns you off when 3/4ths of your squad is out with torn ACL's.

I wish Fabian Johnson could play in midfield for us, but damn it feels nice to know we have a solid defender on the left for the first time since Beas in the WC.

Pulisic is going to fill the Landon shaped hole in my USMNT heart quite nicely.

Very happy with that performance. That said, the attendance was lame.
