I understand that we are in disagreement about my quoted post. I appreciate this and believe it is important to have discourse to further as a society so we may learn more from others.

However, I do stand strong behind my beliefs. My "No" is not just a negative response, it is a call to bring forth more productivity and refrain from engaging in semantics that I feel will not help us progress in conversation. While it is important to me that we have the utmost respect for one another, sometimes disapproval of an action will come from a place of love, similar to a parent telling a child that the child may not have an extra scoop of ice cream.

In this political climate I feel it is vital to be open about our differences and learn to use them to our advantage to make the world a better place. I hope you will take my words into consideration.
