I honestly don’t know, I thought the whole thing just wasn’t true since I never heard about a band breaking up

 

For all we know they're releasing a song at a time: one per car commercial. One new commercial per day for 12 days straight.

But they were teasing "love" cause "Love Me" was the first single. And in this case they are teasing "A Brief Inquiry" perhaps because that's the first single?

 

Or, while teasing ILIWYS, they referred to it as "Love" just as a way to shorten the title and not have to say ILIWYS; not because of "Love Me."

 

but "love" isn't in the title

 

But I do agree that the first single will most likely be "A Brief Inquiry Into Online Relationships" since they already posted what is most likely lyrics. Orrrrr, one of the other song names they already teased will be a single - "It's Not Living (If It's Not With You)", "I Always Wanna Die, Sometimes", or "Jesus Christ 2005 God Bless America". I guess the single could also be that other song "More Than You" or whatever that fans supposedly found in the ASCAP.

Holy crap. I just now remembered that it's I "LIKE" it when you sleep, not I "LOVE" it when you sleep...

 

So... is there any new updates since the 4 new posters came out/the picture of Matty in the field?

Maybe they will release a single before June 1... just kidding we are way passed that. June 1 will be VR video with song(s)/EP or the whole album with no single (very unlikely).

 

We better not need a VR headset to see this thing.

 

Wouldn't bode well with Jamie's "we want everyone to be able to participate" stance.

Random thought: what if they pull an Endless/Blonde and release two records almost simultaneously. Obviously not two full-lengths, but a visual record with a standard record.

 

I mean, they kept putting / / L O V E at the end of all their posts throughout the album cycle. I think it's just simply a signature (like in e-mails and forums) of sorts that they adapted.

I have acquired some news of what’s going on. Sadly, Music For Cars will not be released June 1. A Brief Inquiry will be released June 1. I’m not sure if that’s a single or an EP or video, but I do know no Music For Cars on June 1.

 

But I’m about 75% sure it’s a single since they posted lyrics with that poster, not an EP. maybe they release that single with video June 1 and have pre orders and new aesthetic. I don’t think tour information will be available June 1 though

 

Where did you acquire this information? Definitely see all of that being true, just curious.
