The 1975 - A Brief Inquiry Into Online Relationships (November 30, 2018) Album • Page 104

Discussion in 'Music Forum' started by Matt Chylak, Mar 2, 2017.

  1. Has anyone considered the fact that A Brief Inquiry could be the album? If you look back, in teasing ILIWYS, they referred to it as "Love". What if Music For Cars is just a term to reference it, and A Brief Inquiry is the actual album title?

Something tells me this album will be far from brief though

There is no album, only Zuul.

  4. UMG puts out release guides for all their albums. Nothing on 6/1 for The 1975; single or album.

    Just FYI.

I've seen them add stuff late (they did this with FOB) for bigger artists.

Nothing will actually be released. It’ll just be like...there, man.

Let's hold our breath until we disappear

The DH catalog numbers makes me think they are different, but we’ll see. 325 and 327.

I wish... I like "A Brief Inquiry Into Online Relationships" as a title much more than Music For Cars; and I feel like it would've probably explained the overall theme of the album better. Plus, they already used the name Music For Cars. However, I'm pretty sure I have read in several different articles that they have confirmed the album will be Music For Cars. The only question is that they confirmed that the album will be CALLED Music For Cars, not NAMED. Hehe if they really did pull that, that would be crazy.

I don’t have a car. Despite getting my license 5 years ago, I’ve since been at uni and working locally. Only now am I moving away, and my job is minutes away. I have a gaming steering wheel I’ll pull out and hold while staring out the window, especially for this album.

That’s smart but I don’t think it’ll sound the way they intended.

To be fair, label relations guide don't publicize every confidential release. There's plenty of labels that know about releases that are going to drop out of nowhere and don't put them in that guide for this very reason.
