also incorporate Nokris' fascination of reviving into the raid by making him the boss 2-3 times in different areas of the throne world. We kill him, he revives but is a little weaker as the rooms proceed until we get transported into the throne room where he's back to full health/shield after his last revive.

The raid lair as a pursuit of Nokris through the tunnels culminating in a fight against both him and Xol at once would've been a challenge worthy of their importance to the lore for sure.

I actually thought the Nokris fight was decently challenging, for a campaign boss, especially solo. Xol was way too easy though, considering they give you the Valkyrie to damage him.

Also wow, I didn't even read those lore tabs and that was pretty much exactly what I theorized myself last night. Cool.

Updating my game on XB1 now to jump back in for a spell. Haven't turned it on since December. However, most of my friends that played and that I liked to play with moved to the PC version. So that's a bummer. However I do most of my stuff solo anyway so it's not a big deal. That is until I want to do endgame stuff.

I guess I'll start with Curse of Osiris stuff and move through that content real quick to get into Warmind.

If you’re on the XBO clan, I play on the weekdays and would be happy to duo the story missions with you if needed!

    Brief Spire of Stars Walkthrough

    Statue Garden

Take the ball and throw it at the glowing structure the center of the garden to start the encounter. There are four pillars next to four giant flames around the garden. A new ball will spawn. Standing on the pillars gives a debuff called "Engulfed," which can only be removed by holding the ball. One player must stand on one pillar and receive the ball, holding it until the pillar raises completely. This prevents that pillar's flame from going red and wiping the team. Once the pillar is raised, that player must step off the pillar and throw it to the next player ready to step on a pillar and do the same thing. It is important that nobody steps on a pillar until right before they are ready to accept the ball. Holding the ball for too long gives you a debuff called "Greed" that will kill you after a short while. The players must then cycle the ball around the area, raising each pillar in order until the shield over the center structure drops. When it drops, throw the ball at it. This must be done three times.

    Val Ca'uor's Fleet

There are four platforms around the outside of the room and three toward the center. When the encounter starts adds will spawn. After they're dead, four random people will be assigned "Superior Retainer" status. Four people must stand on the four outside plates while one of the Superior Retainers jumps in the orange beam of light that appears in the center of the room. That beam of light will transport you up to see the Leviathan's targeting view, where there will be three Red Legion ships. One of the ships will be circled and marked with a symbol, either: a sword in a triangle, a mace in a circle, or a trident in a square. That player will then be teleported back into the main room and a ball will spawn. That ball must be taken to the center of the room and charged in one of the pools of white light that appears, which will grant the Greed debuff once more. Greed will kill the player holding the ball if the ball is held for too long. While the ball is being charged, three other people need to stand on the interior plates, opening the doors to the weapons systems. The ball must then be thrown into the weapon system that corresponds to the symbol that was on the marked ship. This charges the corresponding weapon and spawns another ball. Four people must then go back and stand on the outer plates to respawn the teleporter. One of the Superior Retainers must then take the new ball, charge it with Greed, go up in the teleporter, and throw it at the corresponding ship. The Leviathan will then destroy that ship. This must be done for all three ships.

    Val Ca'uor

Go to the center of the room to start the encounter. Val Ca'uor will then drop in and raise an impenetrable shield over himself and infect all of the players with a debuff. A ball will spawn, which must quickly be passed between all of the players in order to remove the debuff. The last person to receive the ball must throw it at Val Ca'uor. The four outer plates will then activate, however Val Ca'uor will summon four orange-bar gladiators onto them. Once the gladiators are dead, two people will receive the "Superior Retainer" buff once again. The other four people must activate the outer plates while one of the Retainers goes up into the targeting view again. There will be six ships there, two of which will be circled with a symbol above them like in the last encounter. The person in the targeting system will teleport back and two balls will spawn outside. The three inner plates must be stepped on, while the two balls are charged with Greed and then thrown into the corresponding weapons system. Two more balls will spawn, which the Superior Retainers must pick up and charge while the other four players open the teleporter via the four outer plates. The Retainers must go back up, destroy the two ships, and return.

Next, a ball will spawn. Someone has to take the ball and charge it with Greed, which will spawn another ball. A second person must pick it up and charge it with Greed, spawning a third ball. A third person must pick this ball up and charge it with Greed. The first two ball holders will have to pass the ball to other players in order to not be killed by the Greed timer. Once all three balls have been charged, the Calus robot behind Val Ca'uor will stand up and raise its arm, which will start glowing purple. The three balls must be thrown at the arm while it is glowing purple; there is a very short window in which to do this. If all three balls are not thrown in time, the team will wipe. If they are thrown in time, Val Ca'uor's shield will drop, allowing him to be damaged.

The only way to damage Val Ca'uor is to shoot the pack on his back. While the damage phase is happening, Val Ca'uor will summon rockets which will kill the player in one hit. The rockets must be avoided while the team does damage. Then the process repeats. You have only three damage phases to kill Val Ca'uor. Once Val Ca'uor's health has been depleted, six bombs will spawn which must immediately be thrown at him. Once all the bombs have been thrown, the team must focus down his final stand meter to finish the fight.

So.....is the new dlc good? I already bought it, but I still have to finish Far Cry and GoW. Debating if I should play this weekend.

Also if I bought the season pass do I need to dl the new dlc or will it just appear like CoO?

I think you still need to go into the store and download it.

And the DLC has a ton of stuff to do. The campaign is really lackluster and only 5 missions, but there's a ton of stuff to grind for now. It definitely can be more of a time sink like D1 was, even though it isn't on that level yet. But it's a step in the right direction and way better than CoO.

Yeah I just hope the guy that now gets to keep the spear actually participated and helped solve it lol. Would suck if he just got to keep it because he happened to live in the area it was hidden.

Played the first story mission. Liking the new Hive, and Bray seems like a cool character. So the strikes are in the story missions!?

Also what’s the recommended lvl for the new lair?

Recommended level is 370 lol. Same for the horde mode, which kind of sucks. Going to be at least a few weeks and a lot of milestones before I can do either of those. Probably my fault for never getting to the max CoO level, but still...

I was at like 327 or something before this expansion. Powered up to 340 really fast pretty much just doing the story, and have now hit a wall for this week at 348.

Surprisingly ran probably the quickest raid run I’ve ever done tonight with @Anthony_ , my cousin, and three randoms from reddit for EoW. Took maybe 45-50 minutes, only wiped once for the entire thing.

@Cameron and @VanMastaIteHab are y’all back to playing consistently again?
