To me it seems the trope is used mostly when a show kills a character for shock value but then is like “Oh shit, we can’t get rid of Ben Mendelson after only one season.” But it sucks because there’s not a lot you can do with a character who’s dead except for flashbacks, which they pretty much exhausted with Katherine last season.

 

When’s that Jason Bateman show coming back? I enjoyed that.

The first 3 times I tried ti watch it I turned it off because I thought the audio wasn't synced before I realized it was dubbed

I binged the second season and had a lot of fun with it, some pretty brutal kills. I need to get around to the first season though.
